Dear friends,
Jonas Mekas informs us that, as of July 2009, he is no longer associated with, or represented by, the Maya Stendhal Gallery. Although that gallery is still making his work accessible via the jonasmekas.com and the jonasmekas.net websites, these sites are still controlled by the Stendhal Gallery, and are there against his will and wishes.
Therefore he calls for a boycott against the Stendhal Gallery.

Jonas Mekas nous a informés que, depuis Juillet 2009, il n'est plus associé avec, ni représenté par la Maya Stendhal Gallery à New York, bien que cette galerie rende toujours ses oeuvres accessibles sur leurs sites jonasmekas.com et jonasmekas.net. Et cela contre la volonté de Jonas.
Il appelle à un boycott de la Stendhal Gallery.
